COMMUNITY OUTREACH WITH KETTLE DAD BBQ
Giving back to the community that supports the business is a major focus for Kettle Dad BBQ! But even before Kettle Dad was established, Roberto and Katey Gonzalez were instrumental in establishing ways to support the community! In 2016 the Gonzalez family partnered with a local church starting a Holiday Help giveaway! The idea was birthed by the Gonzalez family and the local church (Mercy Hill Ministries) added support to the project!
From that first partnership, the community spirit has grown exponentially! The Holiday Help giveaway transformed into a combination of like-minded people in the community and the opportunities to give back are proliferous! In 2020 Roberto Gonzalez and Dr. JP Price formed a legal community nonprofit, nonreligious, group named Ten For Them!
Ten For Them combined the activities and added new annual activities under this one entity to give back to those in our area that we care about and appreciate so deeply! Every year we feed the community near the Thanksgiving holiday for free, no questions asked, delicious meal! Ten For Them also conducts special events by partnering with local non-profits and for-profit groups being a blessing to those in our area!
